IP Workshop For Judicial Officers

C.A. Brijesh, Partner and Head of IP Litigation at Remfry & Sagar, was invited to speak at the Gujarat State Judicial Academy, Ahmedabad, as part of a workshop on IP Awareness for judicial officers from across Gujarat.

Drawing on his extensive litigation experience, Brijesh conducted two sessions covering goodwill and reputation, and the protection of well-known trademarks under Section 29(4) of the Trade Marks Act, 1999, as well as domain name disputes, including cybersquatting, bad faith registrations and available remedies.

The workshop was organised by the Gujarat State Judicial Academy in collaboration with the Cell for IPR Promotion and Management (CIPAM), providing an opportunity for practitioners and judicial officers to exchange perspectives on the practical application of IP law.
