Brijesh is a disputes specialist and leads the IP Litigation practice at the Firm. He counsels clients across industries on trademark and copyright infringement, unfair competition issues and domain name disputes. Representing clients before various forums and courts in the country including the Supreme Court of India, his understanding of court procedures and trial complexities make him an expert strategist on brand protection.
He is also empanelled as an arbitrator by the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) for .IN domain name dispute resolution (based on India’s Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 and the principles governing ICANN’s UDRP process).
In addition, he is currently a member of the International Trademarks Association’s (INTA) Parallel Imports Committee.
Brijesh’s insights on IP law and practice are published frequently in various IP magazines. He also speaks often at forums, both domestic and international, on trends and developments in trademark law and litigation.
