An Inspiring Visit To The Taj Mahal

Lawyers from all 4 Remfry & Sagar offices recently came together in Agra for an offsite — a wonderful mix of learning, culture, and celebration.

The highlight was a series of presentations aimed at sharing knowledge across teams. The sessions were diverse and engaging — from evolving trends in IP and the role of punctuation in patents, to the latest developments in trademark and patent litigation. We explored how Korean brands are shaping global trademark discourse, debated sufficiency versus coverage in pharma patents, and examined the growing challenges of counterfeiting and biotech inventions. Discussions on trade secrets, AI patentability, and the future of copyright further expanded our perspectives and sparked meaningful discussion and reflection.

Naturally, the Taj Mahal was on the itinerary — a timeless masterpiece that always leaving an indelible impression. And, of course, no offsite is complete without fun — from team-building games to an evening of music, drinks, and dancing, the camaraderie was as memorable as the learning.

The trip was an opportunity to learn and unwind. We felt inspired and are now back at our desks with renewed zeal.
