The Delhi High Court held the mark “Goodyear” to be a well-known trademark and granted an injunction against the defendants from using the mark “Good Year” for lubricants and grease. Acting for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Remfry & Sagar demonstrated that the defendant’s adoption of the mark was mala fide despite claims of prior use.
