Remfry in IBLJ’s ‘Deals of the Year’
The Bombay High Court, in the trademark infringement dispute... awarded the highest recorded amount (of damages) in India to date. 
India Business Law Journal (IBLJ) revealed its list of the most significant deals in 2019 and one of Remfry’s cases – Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation v Kishor D Jain & Anr – also finds mention!
The damages awarded in this case – Rs. 50 million – are the highest recorded amount in India for IP cases and we are happy that this very significant outcome has been recognised by IBLJ.
