IPTSE Awards & IP Conclave

Remfry & Sagar partnered with IPTSE- An IP Talent Search Exam for the 6th edition of their IP Talent Search Examination based on a shared vision of promoting the understanding of intellectual property rights and thereby fostering innovation and respect for ideas.

The IP Conclave held on December 5, 2023 felicitated the winners of the 2023 Talent Search Examination. Mr. Amitabh Kant, G20 Sherpa, addressed the gathering and spoke of how India is an innovation leader. Justice Hari Shanker, Judge, Delhi High Court, focused on IP jurisprudence on emerging issues such as AI, and said he looked forward to delving into the IP intricacies associated with such matters.

Pankaj Soni and Vishnumohan Rethinam, both Partners at Remfry & Sagar, were also a part of the awards ceremony. Vishnu moderated a session on ‘Data Protection Impact Assessments’ and Pankaj was part of a panel that discussed ‘Emerging Technologies and IP Challenges (with a focus on AI and blockchain)’.

The evening was a wonderful mix of IP learning and celebration of upcoming IP talent. Kudos to IPTSE and congratulations to all the winners!
