BRICS IP Forum, 2024

On October 14, 2024 member firms of the BRICS IP Forum (BIPF) – Daniel Law (Brazil), Gorodissky & Partners (Russia), CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office (China), Von Seidels (South Africa) and Remfry & Sagar (India) – met in Seoul, South Korea for the latest edition of the BRICS IP Forum, organised in association with the KOREA PATENT ATTORNEYS ASSOCIATION (KPAA).

Remfry & Sagar Partner Gaurav Mukerjee’s presentation was titled ‘Trademark Law in India’ while Partner Shukadev Khuraijam spoke on ‘Update On Indian Patent Regime: Why Should Applicants File In India?’.

The meeting was well attended and the sessions offered valuable takeaways on IP issues both common and peculiar to the 5 BRICS nations.
