Ankush holds dual Master’s degrees in Chemistry (from Rutgers University, USA, and the University of Delhi, India). He also holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and is a registered patent agent. Prior to joining Remfry & Sagar, Ankush worked at another prominent law firm in New Delhi where he gained experience in prosecution of Indian patent applications, contentious designs and rendering assistance on policy matters relating to Intellectual Property.
He is well versed with various facets of Indian patent prosecution in the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology and other allied life sciences which is what his current practice entails. Additionally, he also handles the prosecution of foreign patent applications for domestic clients.

Outside of work, his interest lie in music, lawn tennis and badminton.
