Anamika is a registered Patent Agent and she handles patents in the domains of the pharmaceuticals, bio-pharmaceuticals, medical diagnostics, therapeutics, nanotechnology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, polymers, molecular biology and medical devices.
She is primarily involved in patent filing, prosecution and opposition handling as well as giving opinions to clients on diverse aspects related to Indian patent law and practice.
Anamika’s technical background gives her a strong foundation for understanding inventions and defines her approach in drafting patent applications related to the life sciences.
Apart from patents, she handles filing and prosecution of applications pertaining to the protection of plant varieties.
Prior to joining the Firm, Anamika worked with a leading pharmaceutical company for more than three years in its Synthesis and Analytical department where she was actively engaged in the designing and synthesis of scaffolds, intermediates and final compounds. Her previous experience as a pharmaceutical research chemist, enables her to understand the technical requirements of her clients and provide optimal advice tailored to their specific needs.
