Vishnumohan Rethinam
Partner
Vishnu leads the Firm’s copyright team with more than 15 years of legal experience. His practice also focuses on contentious and non-contentious trademark work, including prosecution, oppositions, cancellations and appeals before the Trade Marks Office and Intellectual Property Appellate Board. He has developed and implemented enforcement strategies, facilitated complex negotiations and successfully argued several opposition/cancellation cases and appeals for clients across a diverse spectrum of trade and industry. He also advises clients on emerging technologies, social media and internet issues with a focus on intellectual property and compliance mechanisms.
He has authored several articles and frequently delivers presentations on varied IP subjects at forums in India and overseas.
Vishnu was a member of INTA’s (International Trade Mark Association) 2020 Presidential Task Force.
