Devaki specialises in advising clients from a wide variety of industries on the availability of new brands and whether they can be registered. She also deals in the nascent area of geographical indications in India. Her experience covers strategising, advising and portfolio management of trademarks and geographical indications from pre-filing through till registration.
Devaki brings with her diverse, multi cultural experiences – she has studied in Scotland and New Zealand and before she joined the Firm in 2010, was working with an IP boutique in Auckland, New Zealand. Her fresh outlook to the evolving area of IP is a key asset for clients.
